In May 2008 Ryland Clendon and Tony Woodhouse started a rambling group for all members of the club and their wives and friends. Rambles take place each month in and around St. Albans and usually last about 2 hours. It is a great way to meet socially with other members and a good excuse to have a pub lunch at the end of the ramble.
The Club has set up a Computer Forum for members to share their knowledge of home computers, as well as encouraging each other to make greater use of computers. The Forum provides an opportunity for members with computer problems to seek help from the Forums collective wisdom.
